SOLEDAD, Calif. - Soledad police have an attempted homicide to solve, after a man was shot multiple times Wednesday night.
Police responded to the 1600 block of Vosti Avenue just before 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and found a 50-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, legs and arms. He was taken to the hospital. The victim under went surgery and remains in stable condition.
Soledad Police Chief, Eric Sills said it's unclear if the incident was gang related however the victim had been associated with gang members in the past.
Witnesses said they heard the shots and then saw a male running away, possibly into a tan, older model pickup truck. If you have any information regarding this incident, you are asked to contact Soledad Police Department.
