The U.C. Santa Cruz Police Department is asking for the public’s help finding a missing student, described as “at risk.”
The parents of Tejas Kaladi reported him missing on Thursday, June 15th after going to campus to take him home for the summer, according to police.
Kaladi did not answer their phone calls and did not show up to meet them at Merrill College as planned, according to police.
“After beginning an investigation into Kaladi’s whereabouts, we have determined he may be at-risk because of statements he has made about harming himself,” said Nader Oweis, U.C. Santa Cruz Police Chief, in a press release issued Friday morning.
