Carjackers rob, stab and steal victims U-Haul in Watsonville

WATSONVILLE, Calif. - A man is in stable condition after he told police he was robbed, stabbed and had his car stolen in Watsonville. 

According to Watsonville Police, the carjacking took place near 2010 Freedom Boulevard on Friday, December 8 around 6:23 a.m. The victim told officers that two suspects wearing dark clothing with bandanas over their faces, forced him into his U-Haul. The suspects, believed to be in their 20's then drove the victim to the 300 block of Green Valley Road where they robbed him of his money, stabbed him and left him in the parking lot as they drove off in his U-Haul. 

"The victim sustained multiple wounds, which were significant enough to transport him to a trauma center," said Sgt. Bryan Fuentez. 

Police do not know which direction the suspects may be traveling in. If caught, the suspects will face charges of kidnap in course of carjacking, assault with a deadly weapon, and robbery.
