Financial Aid Counselors Helping Children of Farm Workers Get Into College

Counselors meeting up at the United Farm Workers Foundation Wednesday

SALINAS, Calif. - CSUMB Financial Aid Counselors will be in Salinas Wednesday to help children of farm workers get into college.

The counselors will be at the United Farm Workers Foundation on Pajaro Street from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday to help students apply for the FAFSA or California Dream Act before the March 2 deadline.

These application is required  to receive any sort of financial aid in college.

The meeting is in hopes of increasing college enrollment and Salinas' community youth.
aid. Students should bring with them the following documentation and information:
*Social Security Number or ITN number
*W-2s for 2013 or a copy of 2013 filed taxes for parents and students
*Parent(s) marital date
*Parent names
*Date of birth
