MONTEREY, Calif. - Country singer Dustin Lynch, funk legends War and tributes to Queen and Journey will headline this year's Monterey County Fair.
Fair officials this week released information about the lineup for the fair's 78th annual concert series.
Concerts are nightly starting at 7:30 p.m. and are free with paid fair admission.
Lynch will kick off the fair on Wednesday, Aug. 27. He's best known for his hit single "Cowboys and Angels", which stayed number 2 for two weeks straight. today it is the top 10 requested song on the radio and iTunes downloads.
He will be followed on Thursday, Aug. 28 by Queen Nation, a tribute to Freddie Mercury and his bandmates.
California funk band War will perform Friday, Aug. 29. The reunited group is perhaps best known for hits such as "Why Can't We Be Friends?" and "Low Rider."
On Aug. 30, don't stop believin' because Journey Revisted will rock the stage. The band has been called "the most authentic Journey experience."
