NEVADA, CNN - Deputies at a Nevada prison are being credited with saving an inmate who jumped from a second floor balcony.
You can see the inmate at the top of your screen as he climbs over the railing at NYE County Detention Center.
One deputy runs up the stairs to try to stop him but the inmate manages to jump anyway.
Another deputy watching from below caught him --- cushioning his fall. The deputy and inmate were taken to the hospital to be checked out but neither was hurt.
Officials at the detention center said the inmate was suicidal.
