SALINAS, Calif. - Salinas police say a 21-year-old man was shot in the forearm Sunday as he sat in a car stopped at a traffic light.
The car was stopped at the intersection of Calle Cebu and Sherwood Drive when a dark-colored sedan pulled alongside and fired one round into the victim's car.
The driver transported the victim to a local emergency room with a non-life threatening injury.
Police say the victim and witnesses were uncooperative.
The shooting is being investigated as gang-related.
