A high number of calls for service prompted activation of an emergency operations center in Hollister on Friday, according to the Hollister Police Department.
Sandbags are available to residents at the Hollister Airport, the City Yard at 1310 South Street and Fire Station No. 2 at Union and Valley View, Hollister police said.
Officers served a search warrant at a Hollister apartment on February 10th and arrested a couple after finding a loaded AR-15 rifle, a sawed-off rifle and a 20 gauge shotgun in the closet of their children's bedroom, according to the San Benito County Sheriff's Department.
