Hollister Rite-Aid burglar sought

Police ask for your help to ID the man

HOLLISTER, Calif., - Hollister police are seeking the public's help in a burglary case from Thursday, August 14. A Hispanic male was caught on surveillance video burglarizing the Rite Aid Store. Do you know this man?

The Hollister Police Department received a report of a burglary at the Rite Aid Store at 1701 Airline Highway. The burglary was caught on the store's surveillance video system but the thief got away.

The investigation revealed the man entered the store on at about 8:00 pm. He was approximately 5' 8" tall, medium build, with black hair, and a mustache. The man was wearing dark pants, a black hat and a black hoody sweatshirt with white lettering.

The man walked to the electronics department where he allegedly cut off a sensor and left the store with a tablet device.

Security officers at the store provided a copy of the video to police. A still image of the suspect entering the store is being released for possible identification by the public.
