High winds prompt canceled classes across Central Coast

Classes canceled in Central Coast

CENTRAL COAST, Calif. - All schools in the Washington Union School District are closed Friday because of severe weather conditions.

The closure affects Toro Elementary School, San Benancio Middle School and Washington Union School.

Officials from Carmel Unified School District said Captain Cooper School canceled classes Friday because of a blockage in the road near Andrew Molera State Park that is keeping school buses from getting to school.

The Early Childhood Education Center in Hollister is closed Friday as well as R.O. Harding Elementary School in Hollister, officials said.

San Benito High School officials confirmed that classes have been canceled for Friday.
