Filing periods for numerous Monterey County elective offices extended
MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) Monterey County Elections said the regular candidate filing period for the General Election in November has closed, but the filing period for some offices is extended. The offices in which the incumbent did not file is extended until 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The filing period for the following races has been extended:
- City of Carmel-by-the-Sea City Council
- City of Del Rey Oaks City Council
- City of Pacific Grove City Council
- City of Salinas City Council District 4
- City of Salinas City Council District 6
- City of Seaside City Council
- City of Soledad City Council
- San Benito County Board of Education, Governing Board Member, Trustee Area 2
- Hartnell Community College District, Governing Board Member, Trustee Area 3
- Monterey Peninsula Community College District, Governing Board Member, Trustee Area 3
- Monterey Peninsula Community College District, Governing Board Member, Trustee Area 4
- Aromas-San Juan Unified School District, Governing Board Member
- Carmel Unified School District, Governing Board Member
- Monterey Peninsula Unified School District, Governing Board Member, Trustee Area 1
