BOULDER CREEK, Calif. (KION) The San Lorenzo Valley Water District announced that a Do Not Drink-Do Not Boil notice has been canceled around Blackstone Drive.

The notice was first issued on Aug. 29 for several areas so the district could assess how the CZU Lightning Complex affected water system operations.

The notice is still in effect in these areas:

  • Brookdale Area: High St, Clear Creek Rd, Logan Way, Stanford Way, Western Ave, Park Ave, Manzanita Way, Melvin Ave, Forest Way, Sweetwater Lane
  • Boulder Creek Area: All services west of the Highway 236/Redwood Drive intersection, including St. Francis Drive, West Park Ave, Boulder Brook Drive
  • Riverside Grove neighborhood, including Dry Well Road, Summit Drive, Redwood Drive, Alpine Drive, Creek Drive, Stewart Street, Pinecrest Drive, Rambling Road

Customers in those areas are asked not to use the tap water in those areas because the district said they are either still depressurized or they are still confirming that there is no contamination.

The district said it will continue testing the water, including in areas where the notice has been lifted, and will notify customers if anything harmful is found.
